Forman, Stanley Peacefully with his family at his side, in his 83rd year at Hospice Niagara in St. Catharines, on Friday, April 22, 2011. Beloved and devoted husband of his life partner Ruth Forman (nee Stein), caring father of Edith Forman and Stan Forman Jr. Loving "Papa" to grandchildren Heidi and Sonny. Dear brother of Mila and Draha and predeceased by brother Lada. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Stan emigrated to Canada from Czechoslovakia in l951 and spent thirty-three years working for Inco as a mine foreman. He then retired to St. Catharines in l987 where he took time to enjoy life making wine, playing bridge, and travelling frequently to Florida and Cuba. Stan's family wish to express their thanks to Hospice Niagara for their support and kindness, and to the doctors and nurses of the St. Elizabeth Health Care and the Oncology Department of the St. Catharine's General Hospital.
