Obituary of William Hagarty

HAGARTY William Timothy … Passed away peacefully at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital on Friday, May 13, 2011 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Geraldine. Dear father of Patricia Conway Gallagher (predeceased 2005) and Kathi McNulty Androschuk (Eli) of Sarnia. Beloved “Papa” to grandchildren Josh Conway, Shauna (Conway) Valeriote, Bree Androschuk, Beth Androschuk, Zach Androschuk and great-grandchildren Liam Conway, Mailee Conway and Carys Jolicoeur. Also survived by niece Debbie and nephew Peter. Predeceased by his parents Harriet and Peter and his brother Peter. Bill was born in Windsor and lived in St. Catharines the majority of his life. He was a retired employee of the Ford Motor Company and was a recent resident of The Royal Henley Retirement Home. He previously enjoyed five years residing at Anchor Pointe Retirement Home. Bill’s dry wit and sense of humor was enjoyed by his friends and family. He was “Mr. Wonderful” to many. Friends will be received at the PATRICK J. DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL (39 Court Street, St. Catharines 905-685-6584) on Monday, May 16, 2011 from 2 pm until the time of funeral prayers in the chapel at 3 pm. Internment to follow.
