Obituary of Marie Alice McCarthy

McCarthy, Marie Alice It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Marie McCarthy on July 20, 2011 at the age of 91. Predeceased by her husband Wilfrid York McCarthy and beloved son Robert. Marie is survived by her son Edward, daughter-in-law- Theresa, daughter Jeanette, son-in-law John, grandchildren Ryan (Mel), Shannon, Jacquelyn (Brad), Susan (Terry), Michael, great grandchildren Maggie, Devin, Fiona, Bridget and Patrick. Marie’s family will receive friends and family at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Wednesday July 27 from 7pm to 9pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday July 28, at 10am. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke foundation or to the flower gardens at Linhaven.
