Wood, Collis F. Peacefully at the Niagara Garden Retirement Manor in St. Catharines on Tuesday, November 15, 2011. In his 93rd year, Collis Frances Wood, beloved husband of Mary E. Wood (nee Disher). Loved father of David Wood (Eleanor). Loving grandfather of Bradley (Jill)and Jeffrey (Sheila). Great grandfather of Garrett, Daniel, Joel, Leesha and Emma. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews.Predeceased a brother Jack and a sister Hazel. Collis and Mary ran and called for the Junior Pioneers and the Pioneer Squares for fifty-five years. Collis retired as operational manager of Canadian Bearings. Following Mr. Wood’s wishes no services will be held. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to either the Canadian Cancer Society (Prostrate Cancer)or the Red Cross Society would be appreciated by the family.
