Stafford, George Peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Thursday,January 12, 2012 surrounded by his family. In his 79th year, George Stafford, loving husband of Eileen Stafford (nee Giroux). Loving father of Catharine (Jim Wilcox), Debra (Cliff Grobb), Douglas Stafford (Christine) and James Stafford (Jami). Loved Grandpa of James, Tricia, Charlene, Cliff Jr., Crystal,Matthew, Joshua, Sarah and Alexander. Lovingly remembered by eleven great grandchildren. Dear brother of Phyllis (Fred Bensch),Frances Scott and Jim Hill. Brother-in-law of Isabel Brenton and Victor Giroux (Lucy). Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters Grace Moline and Shirley McTrivish, and by three brothers Bud, Ken and Paul. George was a Past Grand Knight of Council 1394, he co-founded Survivors of Stroke Niagara. Members of the Knights of Columbus Council 1394 are requested to attend a memorial service Monday, January 16, 2012 at 6:45pm.
