Stanko, Anne Peacefully at her home with family by her side in St. Catharines on Thursday, February 9, 2012. In her 99th year, Anne Stanko (nee Demkiw), beloved wife of the late Dave Stanko. Loving mother of Sandi and Ron (Carleen). Dear sister of Leo Demkiw, Jean Myskiw, Julie Speck and Tony Demkiw. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters Mary and Halia, by one brother Leslie and by her son-in-law Bob Ambridge. Anne’s family wishes to express their thanks to Dr. W. Oelofse and Dr. E. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 316 Queenston Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday morning February 15, 2012 at 11am. Rite of Committal to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. A Vigil service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday February 14, 2012 at 7pm.
