Obituary of Joseph Fediw

Fediw, Joseph Passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Thursday, September 8, 2016. In his 92nd year. Joseph Fediw, Devoted and beloved husband of Olga Fediw (nee Pawluk) Loving father of Roman ( Christina), Anna Brenneman and Irene Lynch (Steve Eccles). Loved Dido of Tanya (Curtis Walsh), Subdeacon Roman Fediw, Lisa Ross and Amy Brenneman, Joe and Sarah Lynch (Patrick Steele). Great Dido of Kyle and Bailey Ross, Vanessa Sneyd, Cole Steele, Stella Walsh. He will be lovingly missed for his witty sense of humour and bright smile. Joseph worked at General Motors for twenty-one years retiring due to illness. He was a member of Sts.Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church, The Ukrainian Black Sea Hall and Ukrainian Seniors Group “Yednist”. He enjoyed working on cars and his trips to Fairview Mall by scooter and coffee with his friends. Visitation will be held at Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, St.Catharines (905-685-6584) on Sunday September 11, 2016 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Panachyda will be served at 7pm on Sunday. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Monday September 12, 2016 at 10am. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sts.Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church Building Fund or Military Aide in Ukraine.
