PFAFF, Wade Eon - It is with great sadness that we say farewell to Wade, who was born on June 28, 1966 in Scarborough, Ontario and died suddenly on Friday June 9, 2023 at his home in Toronto. Wade was 56 years old, of South African descent, and predeceased by his parents Neville and Joan (Dorothea). He is survived by his older sister Coral (Mike Anderson) and her daughters Mara, Jade, and Khendra and his younger sister Tanya (Michael Childrey) and her children Jordyn Goins, Kylan Szabo and Donovan Kieley. He leaves behind many friends, colleagues and cousins, as well as his ex-wife Cynthia London and two step brothers.

Wade approached everything in his life with eagerness and flare. He was an accomplished musician, a dancer, a fashion designer, a creative artist, an historian and a student. Wade had recently established himself as a social anthropologist and musicologist. He was in the midst of working on his PhD. His energy and enthusiasm will be profoundly missed by many. Because he was a longtime resident of the Niagara Region, his funeral service will be held in St.Catharines. In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations towards a legacy scholarship fund. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at Garden City Funerals and Cremations, formerly the Patrick J Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, St.Catharines (Downtown).
